After retiring from the military (27 years of service!), I went to work for the State of North Carolina. During COVID, working remotely became a necessity for a period of time, thus I needed a home office. After looking at the prices for poor quality desks, I decided to make my own. Through the completion of that project, I developed a passion for making affordable wood pieces that were functional. Following the desk, I moved to making end tables, then a book shelf, and soon I was making everything from cedar planters to engraving key rings!

I have spent many hours learning lessons that can only be learned through experience and mistakes. I hope you like some of the items I have created. I look forward to learning new ideas from you. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.

P.S. In case you were wondering about the name Buzzy Bonez Wood Works, below are pictures of Buzz (my daughter’s horse….AKA Buzzy) and Bonez (my Bulldog). They are my buddies and my inspiration! Buzz is with me now, but my buddy Bonez passed several years ago.
